It takes the famous Battlefield series and combines it with the popular game Day of Defeat. These two things made it an obvious choice for our “Best of 2014” list, and we’re proud to report that the game was well received by PC gamers, earning it a strong 8.5 from the community.īattlefield 2042 is an upcoming shooter game that takes place in a fictional future. Basically, it’s a beautiful game with a futuristic setting and a feature set that can’t be beat. Its fluid and realistic visuals, coupled with a tight and satisfying single player campaign, have kept me coming back for more. To be honest, Battlefield 2042 is one of my favourite games on the PC.
